Dr. Matthew Fenigstein is a dedicated, board-eligible endodontist whose journey in dentistry began right here as a graduate of Williamsville North High School. He went on to attend the University at Buffalo, earning his degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Pharmacology and Toxicology, graduating cum laude.

 

His passion for dentistry flourished at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and discovered his calling in endodontics. Determined to sharpen his clinical expertise, Dr. Fenigstein completed a General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, gaining advanced hands-on experience in comprehensive patient care.

 

After residency, he spent two years in private practice as a general dentist in Cromwell, Connecticut, further refining his skills and deepening his commitment to excellence. Driven by his passion for root canal therapy and saving natural teeth, Dr. Fenigstein pursued specialty training at the University of Detroit Mercy Graduate Endodontics Division, where he earned his certificate in Endodontics.

 

Today, Dr. Fenigstein proudly serves as a full-time associate endodontist at Apex Endodontics, PLLC, where he is committed to delivering precise, compassionate, and state-of-the-art endodontic care to every patient he treats.
